Plastic or fabric covers designed for use when moving can also be used during long-term storage, and these covers come in a range of sizes and style options. You can purchase plastic moving covers for sofas, recliners, mattresses, and even bookshelves. Quilted covers for sofas and couches are constructed from the same material as moving blankets, making them ideal for protecting delicate furniture from scuffs and scrapes.
Stack Lighter Items On Top
If you have a variety of furniture in different sizes, look to see which items can be stacked on top of each other. For example, bar stools can be placed on top of dining room tables, and small end tables can be placed on top of dressers or chests.
